I've been busy but thought I should check in. I am down 3 pounds as of the beginning of the week. I haven't really been doing any working out but eating a little better and keeping busy with work and working on the massage room with Alan.
I still need to make my vision board. Is there anyone else that makes them? How do they work for you? Would love to hear feed back.
So now I need to finalize my work out plans and get to it. I am such a OCD person that it has to be the right time and timing for me to start. Maybe this is my problem?
Keep a smile on your face. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Welcome To The Year Of Wellness
Good-bye 2010 and Hello to the year of Wellness 2011. Today we start out on a positive note 1-1-11! Check that out! Being in school this last year along with many trials that came I let myself go, physically. I have not been excercising or taking time for ME! I know how importent it is to do this. So I decided that this is the year of Wellness for me.
I am starting out slow since I haven't been physically active on a daily basis for a long while. I will add to the program each week and make my progress there. I am usually an all or nothing type of person but I know this would just make me sore and not want to do anything. So I will work through the OCD and do it this way.
Working on eating healthier and exercise I should be able to drop some weight, firm up and feel great.
I am using a program that combines Body for Life & tips from people who are fit and fabulous that I admire. After 30 days of changing my eating drasticly this program will start. 2 years ago when I was able to drop a good amount of weight I did it and now I can do it again.
My goal is not only drop weight and get firm but be able to ge an example to my clients of what good health looks like and feels like.
This year has brought many challenges and it has shown me that I can do ANYTHING that I want to if I put my mind to it.
So ready for feeling good and looking good. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Blog Slacker
Blog slacker Yes that would be me! I had so many intentions of getting on the computer and updating but it didn't happen. Like so many other things in my life.
I have been working on a plan to get cardio back into my life. I have been walking with my friends at lunch time at school. So my plan is as follows:
Cardio 6 days a week at least 1/2 hour.
Upper body workout 3 days a week
Legs 2 days a week + walking
My vision is to lose the extra fat and flab that has accumulated. I want to get my arms ripped and become stronger not only to look better in short sleeves but also to have the strength for massages. I think I will be able to perform an even better massage with the flab gone.
My legs still need work mostly toning so that is my goal on them.
The cardio will most likely be done in the evenings when I get home from school.
So that is the plan. I was hoping to have things (life) more under control by now but it has been crazy. Between studying, finals and family life the time is literally taken away.
Hope everyone is doing great. I will try to get around and catch up on all you wonderful people. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Very Bad Blogger
Hello everyone! I have been a very bad blogger. I know it sounds weird but I have been absorbed in my school work and just loving it. Trying to find a balance, giving up somethings and trying to get enough rest has been a major chore in my life. Massage school is WAY more than I had thought it would be. Many more books so much more to learn. But I am so loving all of it. Anatomy is amazing every inch of our body is amazing. The law in Arizona for a massage therapy license is 500 hours. The school that I am attending Arizona School of Massage Therapy requires 815.5. They hold us to a hire standard and expect that professional level. It has been a growing experience for me.
I have always loved learning and this is just fun, hard studying!
The family seems to be adapting to me not being home as much. E'lyse has stepped up and has been a major helper in taking care of some of the things that I use to be here for. Great job E'lyse thank you so much!
I have long days leaving at 7 and getting home between 6:30 and 7 most nights. I know it will be worth it in the end. I have made new friends at school We have a wonderful class with talented people of all walks of life. I can't get over how much we laugh and enjoy the learning process, even the instructors laugh with us and make it a great experience.
We had our first final this past week for CPR I will get my results on Monday. This week I have a final in acupressure and massage basic. Lot's of studying and practice.
So this is my life in a nutshell. I am turning into a nerd and I can't help it.
Good news I have lost 6 pounds since starting school without trying. Keeping busy and not having food readily available helps. he he Still trying to fit in cardio on a regular basis but I will get there it is all a matter of finding balance here and being organized.
I will try to get around and visit your blogs. I miss visiting them on a regular basis. I do pray that everyone is well. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

The First Week of January
The first week of January has been a very busy one. I started back to school after some 26 years. I am loving it. The learning, talking with people and stretching my brain. BONUS lost 4 pounds! Woo Hoo! I haven't even been trying that is the great thing. I have been doing a little workout in the mornings. This week my goal is to do the weight workout and a cardio workout. It is hard to get adjusted to the hour drive one way and home at night. My day is from 9 to 5:30 so I have to leave my house about 7:15 to make sure I get there on time. I end up reading my scriptures in the parking lot and then go into the school at 8:30. It works out great.
This week I should be burning a few more calories we are starting hands on with the massages. Very excited about this. Hope everyone has a great week. I know I will. Remember keep following that dream and make it reality! Hugs, Bobbi Jo
