Monday

Update on Monday. I couldn't get on a computer last night with kiddos working on homework and such.
Monday I did good on the eating. I was very disappointed in myself on the workout. My knee was still really sore so I took it easy.
Janel took me with her to a great (not majorly tidy) farmers market in Apache Junction. The prices were awesome. I got 1 head of cabbage, 4 peppers (different colors), 1 large back of grapes, 2 big old sweet potatoes and 2 cantaloupes all for $7. What a deal. The cantaloupes were so yummy.
I am still waiting for that ENERGY that is suppose to come with this. I think I am still detoxing though. Press on!!
Have a great Tuesday! I will check in later. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

  1. Plugging away at another day... Good deal you got all those veggies!

As for cardio, I've done a lot of stuff in my past:
In HS I was in cheer and dance.
College was yoga and walking around ASU's big campus and parking clear on the other side of where all my classes were. I also worked out at the school fitness center on a treadmill etc.
When I moved to Lincoln Nebraska I started Jazzercise. It's a great way to get in shape and tackle all of your trouble zones in one hour. You're in and out! I'd go to their site www.jazzercise.com. I've been trying to get my mom to join but she's not too keen on the idea.
I quit jazzercise in June to pursue a traditional gym membership since I was hitting a plateau. So for cardio, I've been doing 25 min. of either the treadmill or elliptical min. Since the holidays are over, I've bumped it up to 30 min. minimum. I really like to get my heart pumping. I do that twice a week at 24 hr fitness. The other two days during the week I take a weight training class that's very challenging. I hope to see results soon. On Saturdays I try to make it to the 30 min. step class but sometimes I'm too tired. :-)
